MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Welcoming and well run by its two partners with Javier García running the kitchen and Ángel Pereita in charge of the dining room and wine cellar. The chef has always been a keen defender of the culinary culture of Extremadura and the flavours from its pastures, combining this with cutting-edge techniques to create cuisine that is honest, full of commitment and brought impressively up to date. The restaurant has a terrace-garden at the entrance and two modern-style dining rooms where guests can choose from the à la carte or opt for the tasting menu, both of which change three times a year. The special carpaccios, in particular, never disappoint.
