Le Gourmet

A truly delightful property with a long tradition of hospitality behind it: as early as 1472, guests were received in the Hirschgasse, across the river from the castle. Le Gourmet is the hotel's romantic, historical fine dining restaurant and it comes complete with old tiled stove, stylish parquet flooring and fabric-covered walls. Despite all the details retained from bygone days, this place is anything but stuffy, and this is largely thanks to chef Mario Sauer. He skilfully integrates modern elements into his classic cuisine to create dishes with complex flavours and plenty of finesse. The charming and highly efficient front-of-house team is led by sommelier Erik Himpel.
