MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

This teishoku restaurant specialises in Korean soups. Its name means ‘Japanese hairpin’ in Korean and was chosen to encourage women to come in, even if dining alone. Familiar, authentic soups like sundubu with clam dashi and tofu and seolleongtang featuring ox bone and shank are popular. The chilled soybean soup with noodles (kong-guksu) and chilled beef shank soup with noodles are summer specialities.
