Three generations in and going strong, Das Edelweiss Salzburg Mountain Resort is a testament to the Hetteger family’s past mastery. They’ve of course perfected the ski-in, ski-out idiom (including their own ski depot, replete with the latest and greatest), and the après scene is arguably just as opulent. There isn’t a room in the place without a postcard view, and even the most modest of them doesn’t skimp on natural wood and floor-to-ceiling windows for the full effect. For best results, grab a front-row seat to a snowcap sunset in their infinity pool.
