MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
The first branch outside Japan serves wild-caught anago (sea eel) in almost every possible way: simmered in sweet soy, grilled kabayaki-style, battered and deep-fried, rolled in egg omelette, or marinated in white miso before being grilled. The medium-sized lacquered box set includes both simmered and kabayaki eel with condiments such as green onion, wasabi, sesame, pepper and yuzu zest. Also try their anago nigiri sushi.
