MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
This nostalgic shop is styled after a local back street circa 1950 and serves traditional Taiwanese cuisine with a modern twist. The chef tries to re-create old-time flavours and lets the ingredients shine by holding back on the seasoning. The menu is small, with daily recommendations written on the board. The quintessential Taiwanese ground pork rice is a big hit. Also try marinated pork knuckles, deep-fried chicken rolls, and squid balls.
