This Prospect Heights collaboration is the kind of neighborhood spot you’ll want to make your go-to on first sight. The restaurant showcases an intimate, feel-good vibe; friendly service; and a deceptively simple but well-executed, French-leaning menu.
The dining room is comfortable and replete with a small outdoor space that offers alfresco seating when the weather is right. Dinner kicks off with brandade de morue served with delicious She Wolf sourdough, then vol-au-vent with tomato confit, cipollini onion and crème de tomate shows off it classic style. Definitely save room for a wedge of Basque cheesecake.
