MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
The cement façade and walls are softened by a wood counter and the warm service, which comes courtesy of a young team. Guests sit at the counter and interact with the chefs so it resembles a sushi-ya, but European touches are obvious in the cooking and the plating. The omakase menu features plenty of Japanese Wagyu, mostly grilled in a Japanese stone oven, while the thickly sliced gyutan is a favourite of many. Reservations are mandatory.
