MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Commissioned by banker Jørgen Haslev Heftye in 1864, this villa comes with high ceilings, original plasterwork and dark, moody décor. Seasonal menus offer plenty of choice, and the understated, classically based dishes are well-judged and full of flavour. The wine list offers some stunning vintages.
