A casual restaurant by Alain Ducasse. The cuisine is mainly southern French, simple yet sophisticated, and uses plenty of tomatoes and olives. Dishes to look out for include potato gnocchi, sage and girolle mushrooms. The spirit of Chef Ducasse suffuses every dish, including the Baba au Rhum dessert. The terrace, with its spectacular views of Togetsukyo Bridge and Arashiyama, is unrivalled, hence the name: muni, Japanese for ‘unique’.
