MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
A stone’s throw away from the scenic spot Kuanzhai Alleys, this three-storey restaurant is perfect for a meal after sightseeing. The main dining room on the ground floor serves Sichuan and Cantonese cooking à la carte, including shuizhu beef and mapo tofu. Private rooms on upper floors serve set menus inspired by state banquets at Diaoyutai guesthouse, where the executive chef worked until 2016. The food shows shrewd judgment and impressive skill.
