This formal restaurant took over the billiard room of the legendary Shanghai Club circa 1910 and was named after the Club’s founder. The décor is opulently deluxe yet punctuated by modern touches. The glass-clad show kitchen works unexpectedly well with the ceiling covered in 9,000 shiny coins. The menu skewed more towards European cuisine than French, and it changes according to the season.
