This purveyor of sukiyaki has maintained its reputation since the late 19th century. The restaurant’s appearance, with its tiled roof and lantern sign, attests to its history. The octagonal design of tables and iron pots is inspired by the number eight, which symbolises ‘suehirogari’, good fortune and prosperity in Japan.
