MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Easy to find despite its location on the outskirts of town, this restaurant features an attractive rustic-style dining room decorated with farming implements and other curiosities from the stunning Cerdanya valley in the Pyrenees. Its owner-chef, Juan Regis, is truly passionate about cooking and, in particular, the best-quality products which he uses to create his own personal take on traditional, market-inspired dishes, including lots of Catalan recipes and intensely flavoured slow-cooked stews prepared in time-honoured fashion. The high-quality meats and the signature cod with chanterelle mushrooms and tripe are worthy of special mention.
