MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The name of this restaurant, which translates as the “Way of St James” in Basque, perfectly defines the philosophy of this gastronomic project. Located in a tiny village close to Negreira, it benefits from the support of the great Juan Mari Arzak, one of its owners, and is run with great passion by chef Oihana Chico who, following his culinary studies, trained under Arzak at his restaurant in San Sebastián. The cuisine here focuses on traditional and contemporary Basque cooking which takes advantage of the very best seasonal ingredients from Galicia. A choice of attractive guestrooms is also available.
