MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
At over 150 years old, this hugely characterful pub delivers everything you might hope, with its sloping floors, narrow passageways, dimly lit anterooms and a lovely “Ladies’ Room” complete with a serving hatch. Cooking is heart-warming and satisfying, and offers the likes of Irish stew followed by tasty nursery puddings.
