Sanok, which means “four shades of green,” serves modern Korean dishes with ingredients from the country’s four manifestations of greenery: mountains, wilderness, paddies and fields. Chef Kim Jeong-ho, who previously worked as the Head Chef at Jungsik Seoul, strongly believes in the sustainability of products; he mainly uses eco-friendly ingredients, purchased directly from producers, in an attempt to promote animal welfare. The signature menu includes an egg creation, featuring antibiotic-free fertile eggs and stir-fired sea string dressed with perilla oil; and zucchini cooked at low temperatures served with burrata cheese. Natural wine is offered as an accompaniment to these delectable creations. The space's cozy and homey ambience simply elevates the charm of its seasonal specialties and comforting wines.
