MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

It was in this inn on the banks of the River Loire that Clémence Lefeuvre (1860-1932) first created a beurre blanc sauce (made with butter and white wine). The arrival of a determined young couple has given a new impulse to the story. Classical, well-crafted cuisine, rich in flavours and a fine selection of seafood and Loire produce. We can recommend the fried eel.
