Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
A pretty, contemporary restaurant fitted out in the unlikely setting of a former fire station. At the helm, chef Stéphane Amalric is a familiar face for Villefranche folk. His cooking is a beautiful ode to local Aveyron produce and displays astute touches of creativity: cod ceviche and a fine sand carrot jelly, brownie with white chocolate drops and blueberries. Dishes like these are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the taste buds.
