The concept is a hit: a beautiful modern gastro-bar with a pleasingly informal atmosphere, paired with unconventional cuisine at reasonable prices. This is all down to Volker Drkosch. Using modern techniques, he skilfully marries finesse and elegance with punchy flavours and depth. The quality of the ingredients is beyond question in his dishes, which draw on both Mediterranean and classical influences. A set menu comprising four to six courses (each with a rather original name) is proposed. Tip: The bar affords a direct view into the kitchen.
