MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Just because this is one of Sunset Park’s most cherished parlors doesn’t mean she looks tired. In fact, this dining room is as dolled up as ever, with chandeliers, a floral-patterned carpet and plenty of mirrors. Take a seat and within seconds that dim sum cart will be rolled over. Go ahead and try to refuse the goods from these friendly ladies. They win out every time, guiding you to try pillowy pork buns filled with sweet and smoky pork or spinach and shrimp dumplings bursting with chives. Other standouts include crispy rice noodle rolls, as well as the pork and shrimp siu mai. Be forewarned however, as weekends get busy and competitive as items run out. Spot something you like? Snag it now or risk losing it forever-to a worthy opponent...er...diner.
