MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Housed in the 14C Palazzo Branca Doria, a beautiful residence in Genova’s historic centre decorated with superb frescoes dating from 1618 by the master Bernardo Strozzi, The Cook boasts contemporary furnishings and equally modern cuisine. Although the dishes are clearly influenced by the region (especially in the choice of ingredients), the chef uses these regional influences as a springboard for his own creative ideas.
