MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Soft hues, a sculpture by Nathalie Decoster, and paintings by contemporary artists: the Agapé dining area is wonderfully hushed and intimate. As for the food, the chef celebrates the seasons and the ingredients with undeniable talent. Subtle flavours, perfect seasoning, precision cooking – a sure-fire winner.

Restaurant does not look like a michelin star restaurant. However, once you get inside the restaurant is quite nice. The wall was damaged a bit however. Personnel was very professional, which started with a heartwarming welcome, the way in which every course was presented simultaneously and explained to the guests. Two minor points of attention: 1 the employees should improve their english language skills a bit, so they can converse a bit more than what they need to know necessarily, 2 the attire of the personnel looks a bit cheapish, could do with an upgrade. The food was excellent, all courses were balanced in flavour and had surprising features! We especially liked the squid with cucumber ice and the slow cooked beef, which had been seared to make it very crusty. The sauce was to die for! The food was excellent for the price and portions were adequate for big eaters like us! One flaw was the champagne which was offered as aperetif. The price was not advertised but turned out to be 24 euros per glass! For the rest price quality was excellent!

bien pour un étoilé le menu à 90 euros avec les 3 verres de vins tout à fait correct. Service bien et rapide. certaines mets très fins. cadre et staff très traditionnels.
