Ibiza is known for nightclubs and afterparties, but there’s a quiet side to the so-called party island, too. Near the small coastal village of Sant Agustí des Vedrà, Ses Pitreras is a peaceful and thoroughly stylish getaway. The boutique hotel has just seven suites, each with a private terrace. The look is industrial chic, with big picture windows, slate-gray tiles, and wood paneling — more urban than tropical, but it works well. One room opens directly to the swimming pool, while others have two floors and oversized soaking tubs, and there’s a spa with a Turkish bath. Meanwhile you’re just blocks away from one of the island’s prettiest coves, and you can drive or cycle further afield to explore the island’s lesser-known beaches.
