MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

This family-run restaurant occupying an 18C stone house in the centre of the village boasts a striking main dining room with vaulted ceilings. It belongs to the group of restaurants promoting “volcanic cuisine”, the aim of which is to resurrect the traditional cooking of the Garrotxa region with its locally sourced products and long-established and abundant dishes. Take your pick from a good choice of grilled meats, alongside specialities such as the potato millefeuille and butifarra sausage with a mushroom cream, marinated and grilled pork ribs, and the egg-filled “huevos a la caputxina”, the restaurant’s signature dish.
