MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Thanks to its sexy interior and sleek-chic dress code, diners know to steer clear of shorts and flip-flops. The outdoor tables are some of the most sought after on the Sunset Strip.
This robata-yaki specializes in skewers of meat grilled over binchōtan, flame-licked and infused with smoke. However, their fish and sushi offerings can be even more impressive. Start off with shiro maguro, lightly seared tuna sliced sashimi-style and fanned over crispy fried onions and ponzu. Crowds also appear to clamor for their raw hamachi topped with copious amounts of sautéed red and green chilies finished with a bit of sesame oil.
