Holiday Splendor at Elena (Buenos Aires)

At the Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires, the festive spirit is in full swing, with the aromas of panettone and nougat filling the dining rooms. The hotel, awarded two MICHELIN Keys, hosts a Christmas Eve celebration at its onsite restaurant Elena. Executive Chef Juan Gaffuri showcases Argentina's finest products in a specially crafted four-course menu.

The experience begins with Patagonian trout tartare, tapioca crunch, and trout roe. It continues with sepia ink and octopus arancini; pecorino foam carbonara pasta; and the catch-of-the-day with mandarin gastric. It finishes with a pasture-raised beef chop served with gírgolas and portobello cream. For a decadent yet restrained dessert that hits all the right notes, there's a 70% chocolate ganache with coffee toffee and caramelized pine nuts.

The festive decor, toasts, and pairings with cocktails and wines from Catena Zapata will surely get you into the holiday spirit. 

The seven-course menu with wine pairing is priced at $300 USD on December 24th, with an exclusive $500 USD menu for hotel guests on the 31st.

Modern Tastes Meet Nostalgia at Crizia (Buenos Aires) 

Ring in the New Year with a nostalgic touch at Crizia, a One MICHELIN Star restaurant in Buenos Aires. Crizia honors Argentina's geographic diversity, collaborating with the best regional producers and fishermen. Chef Gabriel Oggero's eight-course menu for December 31st features dishes like oysters with yuzu, Ushuaia king crab with almonds and lemon, scallops with toasted butter and mandarin, and Patagonian lamb with eggplant.

To toast throughout the evening, wine pairings include selections from Catena Zapata and El Enemigo wineries. Ending on a nostalgic note, Gabriel will serve a panettone made from a 30-year-old family recipe with citrus peel, dried fruit, and dark rum.

The eight-course menu with pairings is priced at $320 USD on December 31st (children under 12 priced at $135 USD).

Decadent Festivities at Duhau Restaurant & Vinoteca (Buenos Aires) 

Say farewell to 2025 with a grand celebration at Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt's dining spaces, including Duhau Restaurant & Vinoteca, which spans the luxurious hotel’s terrace and hidden garden in Recoleta. The hotel proudly carries One MICHELIN Key.

On Christmas Eve, the five-course menu will kick off with antipasti featuring artisanal cheese from the hotel's own cellar and charcuterie, tender vitello tonnato, and Patagonian trout. It culminates with Angus beef loin paired with Salentein wines.

On the 31st, a decadent antipasti will be followed by succulent Cochinillo confit, Wagyu flank steak, fresh oysters, the catch of the day with an escabeche emulsion, and Puerto Madryn prawns, with Catena Zapata wines to sip with. Sway to the rhythm of live music and a DJ up until the final New Year’s Eve countdown.

Celebrate the New Year With Aramburu's Yet-to-Be-Revealed Feast (Buenos Aires)

Start the New Year on the right foot at Two-Starred Aramburu, where traditional recipes meet masterful technique and top-quality local ingredients.

Adding an element of surprise, Aramburu has yet to announce its special New Year's Eve menu. “We’ll announce it soon,” states Gonzalo Aramburu. “We’ll explore Argentinian seas with beloved products like king crab and razor clams, add Patagonian lamb, likely game meat—our signature—plus summer fruits and vegetables,” he shares.

Lively celebrations will spill into Aramburu’s pedestrian passage well past midnight.

The tasting menu (courses to be confirmed) with pairing costs $500 USD (first seating at 6:30/7 PM) and $900 USD (second seating at 9/9:30 PM).

Exceptional Beer, Wine, and Cooking at Centauro's (Mendoza) 

On Christmas and New Year's Eve, Centauro's chef Aris Pabón will orchestrate an eight-course menu with local specialties like Andean trout prepared various ways and the house-special Argentine beef with seasonal and contemporary touches like pumpkin textures and milk air.

Located in Argentina's wine capital, sommelier Luciano Roldán starts the evening with a cheeky touch: a fresh, barrel-aged beer. Extraordinary pairings follow, from Michelini's Uco Valley Sauvignon Blanc, perfect for fig leaf escabeche, to Riccitelli's unique wine paired with regional cheeses. It all goes down within a stylish house, where traditional architecture contrasts with contemporary furniture and lighting.

Eight-course menu with wine pairing for the 24th and 31st is $300,000 (approx. $205 USD). Repeated on January 1st for $250,000 (about $170 USD).

An Idyllic Setting for Christmas Eve and New Year at La Vida (Mendoza)

Within the enchanting gardens of Susana Balbo's Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites—awarded two MICHELIN Keys—La Vida will welcome guests for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve with four-course menus paired with top Susana Balbo wines.

On the 24th, chef Flavia Amad will present a summery melon gazpacho with cured trout, a clever ice cream made from potato, carrot essence, pea air, garlic crunch, and aioli, and round it off with choices like grilled filet with grilled vegetable medley.

On the 31st, diners receive a hearty welcome, with cheeses, charcuterie, and the famous Mendocina empanada. Then, comes the fire: a selection of Argentine grill cuts: filet, rib, sausage, black pudding, pork shoulder. Post-desserts culminate in a festive candy-laden table with nougat, pistachio brittle, and fruitcake.

Four-course menus with wine pairing and dessert table cost $250 USD on the 24th and $300 USD on the 31st.

Choose-Your-Own Culinary Celebration at Soberana (Mendoza)

Direct, crowd-pleasing flavors anchor Soberana’s special three-course menu for December 31, where guests can craft their own experience. Guests select one of three options per course at least 48 hours in advance.

Just 200 meters from Mendoza’s Plaza Independencia, this corner spot leans into world flavors, offering dishes that range from grilled sweetbreads in a char siu–style Chinese barbecue sauce to gratin cannelloni stuffed with cheese and mushrooms in a caramelized onion Mornay.

Staying true to its personal taste philosophy, Soberana offers three preset wine pairings, or guests can choose cocktails from its buzzy bar.

Three-course menu for December 31st costs $75,000 (~$50 USD) inclusive of water and coffee.

Welcoming the New Year with Embers at Brutal (Mendoza)

An all-inclusive evening starts with Mendocino sparkling wine and ends with classic seasoned nuts and fruit cake to ring in the year's final chime. In between, Brutal offers a seven-course menu where direct fire and embers honor the restaurant's name.

Taking advantage of the season, the feast begins with smoked tomatoes and zucchini, followed by a variety of the most sumptuous local meats—from duck to beef cuts—and the iconic Costilla Brutal served with gloves for guests who want to roll up their sleeves and have a hands-on experience.

Wines from Bodega Trapiche (Gran Medalla and Iscay lines) and Baron B sparkling pair perfectly with each course.

Seven-course menu with pairing for the night of the 31st is priced at $180 USD.
