MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

A key feature of the dining scene in Málaga, as this was the first restaurant in the city to receive a Michelin star, back in 2002. Today, it has made a break with the past under the baton of award-winning chef José Carlos García, whose cuisine caters to more modern tastes in a setting that is fun, more informal, and free of convention, and features a mix of bare and linen-dressed tables, unusual monkey-embellished lamps, plus an open-view kitchen. The focus on the ever-changing menu is on dishes for sharing, alongside specialities such as steak tartare and the Iberian loin of pork with a “Café de París” sauce.
