"The Black Forest meets Asia" is the motto of this cool, stylish restaurant located in Freiburg's beautiful old town. Kuro mori is Japanese for "black forest". Here, modern dishes are conjured up from high-quality ingredients in an open kitchen. As well as an à la carte selection, a small set menu is proposed at lunchtime and a more sophisticated one in the evening. There are also two special offers available on Tue to Thu evenings: "Dinner for two" and "Twenü" (for foodies under the age of 30). Tip: Owner Steffen Disch, who some will know from Gasthaus zum Raben in Horben, also offers cookery courses.
