This century-old restaurant opened its doors in 1913 along with the hotel where it is located. Memorabilia such as a typewriter and rotary phone are perfect details in the plush, nostalgic interior. The menu is also based on last-century Hangzhou favourites, updated with creative touches. The classic Xihu sweet vinegar fish is made with marble goby for its velvety texture. Ask for a table by the windows so you can take in the sweeping views of the lake.
