This striking red-brick Georgian House is very much the focal point of this charming village. It’s a quirky place; some might even say eccentric, as the owners also operate an antique business from here – so don’t be surprised if your dining table has a price tag attached. Dining takes place in several rooms, with the kitchen handily placed in the centre of the ground floor, so the aromas waft in all directions. Expect pronounced flavours and what the locals would call ‘proper cooking’.
