Located at the base of the handsome Park South hotel, Sweetbriar is Chef Bryce Shuman's broadly appealing second act. Here, he delivers New American cooking kissed by the flames of a wood-fired grill and a seasonally directed menu that has something for everyone.
Hungry? The smoked black pepper maple duroc ribs highlight a tasty trinity of smoke, sweet and spice with tender, falling-off-the-bone meat. Then, dig into chicken wings worth a hoot, g
rilled over hot and smoky charcoal briquettes and dressed in a sweet & spicy sauce made from in-house pickled chilies. Of course it's not all plebeian here, with more refined dishes, like salmon mi cuit with horseradish cream and smoked potatoes, showing off the chef's diverse talents.
