Tucked into a pretty, light-filled space, this California-style spot radiates clean, contemporary polish in the heart of Greenpoint. The wine list is brimming with Golden State bottles (you can even taste some of the bigger name bottles by the glass) while the small, curated menu features vibrant and well-executed fare, much of which is vegetable focused. Tacos are revamped with a veggie slant, with jackfruit "carnitas;" chorizo made from cauliflower, sweet corn and charred tomatillo salsa; and watermelon "tuna" with spicy mayo proving especially memorable. Ceviche also swaps out the seafood but delivers that trademark refreshing zing.
