The owners of the Old Capital Bike Inn, an environmentally conscious boutique hotel on historic Rattanakosin Island, bring their enthusiasm for urban cycling indoors. This hipster-friendly hotel, located in a restored palace, celebrates Bangkok’s bike culture: framed black-and-white photos and charming murals of street scenes cover the walls, and the hotel has its own fleet of vintage bicycles, free for guests’ use. Ten suites evoke nostalgia for Old Bangkok, featuring furnishings built from reclaimed native teak, quirky antiques, and romantic four-poster beds.
