When he’s making curry, the owner-chef is a captive to his work. Determined to know the authentic taste of curry, he studied under an Indian chef, then travelled to the actual homeland of curry. The menu is replete with South Indian meals of various curries and side dishes. The popular Ponni rice is redolent with the flavour of its native Tamil Nadu. The interior’s colour scheme is a bright mixture of green, white and lilac, recalling the image of an Indian street scene.
