This delightfully named operation (PDA is short for public display of affection) is a fitting reflection of the owners' (Robert and, sister, Emi Guimond) charming vision. Pizza is far from a novelty in NYC, but this venture boasts the sort of success that other area spots can only dream of. The space is snug and inviting, with natural wood and beautiful lighting. Slow-fermented sourdough is the secret behind their excellent pies, featuring such responsibly sourced ingredients as roasted carrots with citrus butter and Bourbon, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms. Yet pizza isn't the only draw; rotating appetizers keep company with such beloved entrées as meatballs in a luscious tomato sauce.
