Amidst stone-clad columns, a marble fountain under a skylight is set nicely against a backdrop of greenery. Tables are bathed in natural daylight in this airy restaurant that reminds one of the Mediterranean, instead of the L. A. suburb after which it’s named. The menu features prime steaks of the highest quality, from the U. S. and Australia, all cooked to perfection. Prices aren’t particularly wallet-friendly, but the experience is worth it.
