Marco Martini defines cuisine in three words: eyes, stomach, head – it is memories of flavours from bygone days that provide the impetus for his own creations. He is certainly not lacking in curiosity or a willingness to try new things, as he shows in his modern, imaginative dishes, each of which have their own story to tell, inspired by memories and emotions. The wine list is also intriguing, with a selection of little-known yet interesting labels from small producers appearing alongside more famous names. The dining room recalls a winter garden with a mix of styles, plus there’s a terrace-cum-lounge for aperitifs, imaginative cocktails and snacks. The gourmet menu is also available at lunchtime if you book ahead.
