In the heart of Chamberí, this elegant restaurant has been built on four solid pillars: personality, professionalism, hard work and an unbreakable will! The driving force behind the project is Rubén Hernández Mosquero, a globetrotting chef from Extremadura who has worked in some of the most prestigious establishments (Noma and Geranium in Copenhagen; Azurmendi in Larrabetzu; Il Ristorante at the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo; Minibar by José Andrés in Washington; Atomix in New York...). EMi, a heartfelt tribute to his brother (Emilio, now deceased), has been devised as a haute cuisine bar for a maximum of 12 diners, with a fully open kitchen and a small private room overlooking the stoves. What's on offer? A single surprise menu where the chef puts his vast technical knowledge on display, with complex but balanced and delicate fusion dishes that reflect Nordic and Korean influences. There's even an extensive wine cellar with exclusive labels!
