The Space:

The Aman Suite, one of only two in the building — these are the largest one bedroom suites at Aman New York, and both occupy corner rooms.

Where:

On floors 11 and 12 of the historic Crown Building in Midtown Manhattan.

Who Stays Here:

Privacy and discretion are Aman's specialty: so we couldn't tell you a specific name. But you've seen their faces everywhere from Forbes to US Weekly.

What It’s Like:

There’s no better representation of the lavish exclusivity and service of this hotel than its eponymous Aman Suite, a multi configurable space that allows for staff, security, or in-laws to have their own space while still being close enough should anything arise.

Need to take a meeting? There’s a spiffy office concealed behind softly lit illuminated panels that muffle out any chatter just outside in the spacious living room. Oversized picture windows flank the space providing peeks out onto the streets of Fifth Avenue and the iconic New York City skyline.

But beyond the views, the space itself is all about creating a sense of home. Walk-in closets, guest powder rooms, and even meetings can take place with privacy as intricately detailed panels conceal any major deals from guests. And those who want to entertain can do so in lavish style; the space comfortably fits about 20 to 25 people and the hidden wet bar and kitchenette provides one of the Aman New York’s best treats, in-room omakase.

While omakase is available in the restaurant, only guests of the Aman Suite have the privilege of enjoying it in-room. The in-house chef, Takuma Yonemaru, will bring the day’s selection, replete with hand-selected chopsticks and sake glasses.

The Background:

Stepping into the Aman New York is jarring in the best possible way. Despite being at one of the busiest intersections in the world — 57th Street and Fifth Avenue — it’s so quiet inside you could hear a diamond fall out of its loose setting. No matter which space you’re in on the property (with the rare exception on the terrace), you will not hear a horn, siren, or even crying child. And therein lies the appeal of the Aman New York; it brings the city to you, on your own terms.

Each guest is at the epicenter of Manhattan, with every earthly pleasure at their disposal. The level of service and attention paid to each guest is akin to chartering a jet. Everything is on your schedule and at the highest standard. Personalized, of course.

Here's a hint:

Wellness junkies will appreciate the double-height pool located a stone’s throw from the Aman Suite, along with the gorgeously appointed spa where guests can indulge from 9 a.m. to close at the Hammam (a steam room with marble walls and floor) or Banya (a wood clad sauna).

Room Service?

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, any dish you want can be delivered. Other amenities include complimentary house cars for drop-offs (within a 15-block radius), butler service (naturally), and daily a la carte breakfast.

If you can't:
