Although initially conceived as a more rudimentary descendant of the sophisticated Fasano, Gero soon developed into one of the city's most refined and talked-about restaurants. The rusticity of its open-brick walls contrasts with its indirect lighting and long balcony to create a refined yet casual ambience popular with the Brazilian jet set. On the menu, we suggest the delicious artichoke agnolotti with a scampi sauce; for dessert, the pannacotta with a strawberry sauce is a must.
