Just a few steps from the popular Praça Luís de Camões, where the Bairro Alto begins, there is a highly unusual restaurant, both for its well-kept, intimate interior atmosphere (open kitchen, textured wooden walls, partially vaulted ceiling...) and for the fact that you enter the premises via a flight of stairs. The concept, courtesy of young Italian chef Mattia Stanchieri, trained in prestigious establishments such as Geranium (Denmark), Da Vittorio (Italy) or Belcanto (Portugal), reveals the soul of his homeland through Portuguese products, with refined technique and always guided by three seasonal tasting menus (Volare, Viva la vita and Con te partiró). Curious details? On the table, there is a small wooden box containing cards explaining the history of each dish, and on the napkin, a golden key (the restaurant’s logo is a keyhole) that is then used as a rest for the cutlery.
