The restaurant harvests its own vegetables thanks to close bonds with the farmers in the Kamigamo and Shugakuin Imperial Villa areas; they are picked in the morning, so always arrive vibrant and fresh. A full range of accompaniments are available to join the freshly cooked white rice, and the house makes generous use of them.
