Just a few crosswalks over from the famed Shibuya Crossing is the Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya, a 227-room hotel from IHG’s design-oriented, boutique-influenced Indigo brand. Like any Indigo it’s dedicated to expressions of creativity, including art, design, and music — and while some of its sisters are a bit more sedate, the Shibuya installment is as vibrant as its always-buzzing neighborhood. The fitness center is decked out in graffiti and brick; the most impressive space might be the 11th-floor Gallery 11 restaurant, with its substantial art collection, its open-kitchen omakase counter, and its terrace with a view.
