Surrounded by high-end businesses and embassies near Lumphini Park, Sanguan Sir still pulls in the international crowds. This legendary but simple Thai eatery began in 1970 and its chipped plates and simple cutlery all add to the feel. It offers small and large portions of signatures and alternating daily specials. The stir-fried crispy snake-head fish in red curry has a luscious amalgam of salty, sweet and spicy, with kaffir lime julienne adding acidity.
