The Forsthofgut has been rooted in Leogang for 400 years, and the Schmuck family has been at home here for five generations. Rooms and suites combine luxury with a gentle sense of nature, with high-quality materials, warm colors, and elegant design. In winter, the ski slope passes right by the hotel, but as soon as the snow melts, the hiking, biking trails and the swimming lake (in summer) in the hotel's garden are top attractions. Not to be missed is the award-winning waldSPA or the property's cuisine — alpine-mediterranean, vegan, or their R50 (regional love) table, which uses ingredients which come from no more than 50 kilometers away.

- Check-in time is at 15:00. If you arrive earlier and the room is ready, you can, of course, move into the room. Otherwise, the hotel offers you a spa bag to pass the time in the waldSPA, where you can start to relax. On your day of departure, check-out time is 11:00 am. However, if you aren't quite ready to end your vacation, the hotel offers an extended spaPLEASURE without a room for €35 per person. This gives you access to the spa area on your day of departure and you can also enjoy a refreshment at the strudelZEIT in the afternoon.
