After 13 years in Moseley, Carters has moved on for a season, taking up residence in a delightful greenhouse within the extensive nurseries of Westlands, who supply 75% of their produce. Start with drinks outside, then head in to discover rows of wonderful herbs and vegetables – which you are welcome to taste. Positive energy pours from the team, which is led by Brad and Holly, who fully explain every dish and are natural hosts. There’s a pleasingly natural style to the food – which has a pure, honest feel – and flavours ooze from every dish. You’ll be back for the BBQ bread in no time!
