The resulting boutique hotel feels handmade in the best possible way, with a character that’s evolved over the years — something that’s difficult to establish all in one go. The units vary in style and equipment according to category, but all are handsome and comfortable, and combine antique and modern elements. They share access to a picturesque pool deck, as well as a roof terrace, a yoga pavilion, a pickleball court, and a spectacular expanse of beach. And it’s all tied together by an indoor restaurant and lounge as well as the Green Room, an outdoor restaurant set right on the beach with a view of the Pacific Ocean.

This hotel was truly a spectacular experience, from the moment we arrived we felt the magic of this place. We were upgraded to a rooftop patio room, where we used the hot tub every evening. Coffee delivery on the deck in the morning, surrounded by lavender, was our favourite moment of the day. The pools, the pristine and empty beach, the dozens of whales we saw, the incredible staff, the food…every detail was thoughtfully considered and perfect. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.
