MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
Since 1935, this four-storey restaurant on the main drag in the Liwan district has been serving classic Cantonese food. As you enter, you can’t miss the banyan tree at the centre of the building – it’s the same age as the restaurant itself. Tea and cover charges vary depending on seating zones. The annexed store sells preserved meat and snacks to take home, such as palmiers and pineapple cakes.
