As you follow the road from Sarentino up to an altitude of 1 622m, you slowly become aware of the extraordinary experience offered by Terra - The Magic Place. This is where the Schneider family began their adventure back in 1940 when Grandfather Johann built his first mountain hut here – the early origins of this magical place. The cuisine is served on a single tasting menu featuring small, beautifully presented dishes, all served at a good pace. The local beef is excellent and served two ways: braised beef with a glaze of chickpeas, chickweed and liquid gnocchi, and potatoes, and charcoal-grilled tenderloin with a glaze of spices, pimpernel oil and black salsify.
